storyhill employment

The Director (Pastor, if EPC ordained) of Small Groups is the primary champion of the church’s Foundational Practice of “Grow Together” — helping adults at Storyhill connect to Jesus-centered community throughout the week in smaller settings. Storyhill believes that whether a person is cautious about Jesus, curious about Jesus, or committed to Jesus, taking the next step of spiritual growth is inextricably linked to meeting regularly with a group of others to study the Bible together, pray together, and share the joys and sorrows of life together. We are looking for someone who can build upon our existing strategy of community and spiritual growth, which involves oversight of Community Groups and Bible Studies, seasonal Courses/Studies, and our Ministry to Women and Ministry to Men.

To apply, send a resume and cover letter to Mandie Jester.

The Youth Ministry Associate Director will work in partnership with our Youth Ministry Director and Youth Ministry Administrative Lead to champion our growing youth ministry initiatives, providing a safe place for our middle and high school students to learn to “Love God, Love People, and Keep Christ at the Center.” Storyhill Church believes in having youth group spaces where students’ faith can grow alongside peers, leaders, and other adults, allowing a safe place for their questions and their authentic selves. Additionally, we value curating opportunities for each middle and high school student to know that they belong to our church family and that their role in our church is not relegated to merely joining “youth group” events. We are looking for someone who can build upon this churchwide vision of youth ministry, which involves helping to implement and lead existing program elements and collaborating well with other ministry area leads, parents, and volunteers within our ministry.

The ideal candidate will possess a Christ-like love for teenagers, a heart for discipling them in their spiritual walk, and a deep appreciation for the vital role the local church, such as Storyhill Church, plays in helping young people grow in their faith and remain rooted in Christ into their 20s and beyond. Ideally, the candidate envisions staying in this role for 3–5 years to ensure consistent leadership.

To apply, send a resume and cover letter to Jordan Hart.

Are you excited about investing deeply in young adults' lives and helping them connect with and serve the local church? The Fellows Director role at Storyhill Church may be a fit for you. This person will equip and disciple a group of young adults for a nine-month period in a way that gives them a deeper understanding of the implications of the Gospel in their individual lives as believers and for their corporate lives as members of society, the marketplace, the public square, the family, and the Church.
