As unrest, uncertainty and division seem to only grow more pronounced in the world around us, let us be ever more attentive to the power of praying together. Please join us on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 6:30 for Community Prayer on the Porch. This 30 minute gathering, hosted by Gethsemane Baptist Church (565 Jetton St.), has become a powerful time of spiritual encouragement and unity in the church.

Open Practice (OP)
Think “music small group” with a side of “Sunday morning tunes” and laughter for dessert. On the surface, this weekly open jam session provides opportunity for musicians to run through the songs selected for weekend services. More importantly, however, is the chance to build community with an amazing group of people, build skills if you’re a new musician, test the waters if you’re new to Storyhill, or even just receive encouragement by singing along in the middle of a rough week. It’s open to everyone. Just show up. See what happens?

Held one Friday night each January, April, July, and October, these seasonal nights of worship offer an opportunity to exchange our regular Sunday morning worship rhythm for a more open-ended time of listening and response.
