Foundations is our youth version of Welcome101. Led by staff and elders, this 2-week class offers our 8th grade & high school students an opportunity to come together and learn more about Storyhill church and how they can live out their role in God’s story.
Students will need to attend both sessions:
Sunday, February 15 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm*
Sunday, February 22 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm
*We will have a snack break. We will reach out closer to the event if we think this session will end before 5pm.
Content:
Content covers an overview of who is God, what is sin and why did we need a Savior in Jesus the Christ. We will also talk about the church’s role (as well as the role of the Holy Spirit) in continuing to carry out Jesus’ earthly ministry. We will then encourage students to think of how they can engage in the mission and vision of Storyhill Church.
Faith Decisions:
Students will be given the opportunity to consider baptism, confirmation and joining Storyhill Church as a Ministry Partner.
