Bible translation may sound like an exotic “overseas” and cross-cultural endeavor, disconnected from the church here in your community, and yet there are significant lessons that can be learned from this ministry that has existed since the very foundation of the Church.

Join Jon and Christy, Bible translators in South Asia, for a night of connection and learning. During dinner, we’ll hear updates about the Grimes’ ministry. After dinner, we will explore together some lessons learned from the field of Bible translation. Using examples from experiences translating in a completely un-churched community we will wrestle with the implications for our witness no matter where God has placed us.
