Questions & Conversations (in partnership with Search Ministries)

  • Storyhill Church Main Office 490 South Main Street Davidson, NC, 28036 United States (map)

The last thing Jesus asked us to do was to “go and make disciples” and to “baptize them” and to “teach them to obey everything” that Jesus had taught them. (Matt. 28:18-20) The church does a beautiful job of this, but what about our neighbors, friends, co-workers, etc. that God has put in our path, that aren’t ready for church just yet? What about those have been beat up by life and believe that God has let them down? This 8 week study will help us to more naturally and conversationally talk about the very real questions adults have about faith and life. When you think about it, where do adults who aren’t in church take their questions about God? We believe that God is intersecting them with our lives so that we might be part of those conversations. Here are some of our topics we will cover: Can we trust that the Bible is what God and Jesus originally did and said? Isn’t it narrow-minded to say that Jesus is the “only way” to God? If God is good, how do we account for evil and suffering in our world? How would you respond to the statement, “Well, that may be true for you, but it is not truth for me?” We want to be people who love deeply and can relationally have natural faith conversations about how Jesus has changed our lives! Hope you can join us! This course will be led by Stefan Wiltz and April Zuiderveen in partnership with Search Ministries.
